How many hours of content are included, and is the course self-paced?

Yes — the course is completely self-paced. You can watch the videos whenever and however you like.Here’s the current breakdown of content:

• Technical Analysis (36 videos): 17 hours 25 minutes

Total: approximately 34 hours of video content, plus ongoing updates and new videos added each year.

This is a substantial amount of structured material. Many trading and technical analysis courses charge similar (or higher) prices for significantly less content. The combination of depth, clear structure, and annual updates makes the course strong value at both the early-bird and regular pricing levels.

Do I need any prior trading/investing or technical analysis experience to join?

No prior experience is required. This course is designed for both complete beginners and experienced traders who want to understand Cantonese Cat’s approach to the market and technical analysis. Both novice and intermediate students will be fully supported.


Will new videos and updates be added after I enroll?

Yes. This course is designed to evolve over time as I continue learning and as the financial markets change.

• When existing video content becomes clearly outdated, I will revise it.

• I plan to add 5–6 new videos every year, based on topics that interest subscribers most or new ideas I want to share. You can expect the content to stay fresh and relevant.

Is this financial advice, and will you help me set up my portfolio?

No. This course is for educational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute financial advice. I will never tell you what to buy, sell, or how to structure your portfolio.

My goal is simply to share the knowledge and methods I’ve developed over the years. If the content helps you on your own investing or trading journey, I’m grateful.

Will you chart my requests?

No, I will not be doing personal chart requests in this course.

This course is designed to teach you independent analysis and critical thinking. The content should give you everything you need to study any ticker using the methods I teach. I will guide you through individual indicators and tools so you can apply them yourself.

What happens when the “Early Bird Special” sale is over? What happens if I cancel and rejoin later?

The “Early Bird Special” subscribers will be grandfathered at their special annual rate for as long as they keep an active subscription. Once the special ends, all new subscribers will pay the regular annual price.

Important notes if you cancel:

• If you initially secure an Early Bird Special slot but later cancel your subscription, you will permanently lose the grandfathered rate.
• If you decide to rejoin in the future, you will need to pay the regular price in effect at that time.
• If the course price increases after you cancel, you will be required to pay the new higher price when you rejoin.

How is this different from free content on YouTube?

One of Cantonese Cat’s strengths is the ability to take complex concepts and clearly explain the why, walk you through the how, and discuss the what — all through a unique and practical lens of the market. Many students have described this approach as refreshing and different from typical content.

While free videos can explain individual concepts, it is rare to find a systematic, comprehensive program that builds from the ground up and finishes with an Integrative Concepts section that ties everything together for real-world application.

Do I need any special charting software or tools?

Most of the technical analysis in this course is performed on TradingView, which is free for the vast majority of the lessons. You will not need a paid TradingView subscription for over 90% of the charting content.

There are a small number of lessons that briefly cover paid tools, but the large majority of the course can be followed completely free of charge using TradingView’s free plan.

Is there a community or way to ask questions and get support?

Yes. Members receive:

• A Q&A section where I answer questions about the lecture content, technical indicators, tools, and general approaches to the market (chart requests are not included). I will do this minimally on a weekly basis.
• An exclusive monthly livestream for course members only starting in January 2027..

What happens if I miss the monthly livestream?

A link to the livestream will be provided to members. If you miss it, you can still get your questions answered through the Q&A section where I respond to questions about the course content, indicators, tools, and general market approach on a weekly basis.

How do I access the course on mobile or multiple devices?

You can access the course on any device with an internet connection — desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.

Can I download the videos for offline viewing?

You cannot download the videos as regular files to your device (for example, as MP4s that can be shared or played outside the platform). This policy helps protect the course content and keeps access limited to active subscribers.

However, it is my understanding that Teachable’s official student app (available on both iOS and Android) does allow you to download lessons for offline viewing inside the app. The videos remain protected and can only be watched within the Teachable app. Progress still syncs when you go back online.

Can I share my login or account with someone else?

No. Your membership is for individual use only. 

Sharing your login details, account access, or course materials with any other person is strictly prohibited.

Each enrollment is licensed to a single user. Account sharing violates our terms of service and may result in immediate termination of access without refund. This policy helps protect the integrity of the course content and ensures that every paying member receives the full value of their subscription.
